Funny Story

So there I was, in Charles de Gaulle airport, on my third tanqueray and tonic, waiting for the redeye back to Dubai, when out of nowhere, Jay Cutler tells me he needs to see a man about a horse and asks if I can watch his stuff. I think perhaps he means it figuratively, but he returns with a saddle and chaps. He says thanks and hands me five quarters. But while he was gone, I took a quick screen grab of his Facebook account and noticed a conversation with some of his NFC North counterparts…

Dustin Fisher is an amateur standup comedian, storyteller, freelance writer, and stay-at-home dad, all of which are just better ways of saying “unemployed.” He worked in the area of collegiate recreation for the previous 14 years at UMBC, Miami University and the University of Baltimore. There, he became somewhat of a folk legend on the flag football field and actually got paid to play fantasy football. Dustin is currently in the MFA program at the University of Baltimore seeking a Masters degree in Creative Writing.
