No golfer has had the success Jack Nicklaus has had on the course. His 18 major championships still stand has the most in PGA Tour history. Nicklaus was the face of golf over four decades. In 1962 he was the PGA Tour Rookie of the Year and went on to win the Masters six times, PGA Championship five times, The US Open four times and Open Championship three times. He led the PGA Tour in money earnings eight different years and won the PGA Player of the Year five times. His 73 PGA Tour wins was the second-most at the time of his retirement (Tiger woulds has since passed him). He won 10 Champions Tour titles and 33 other tour titles throughout his career, giving him 115 professional wins. Nicklaus was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1974, 31 years before his final retirement.
