If you want to learn how to play the game of baseball you want to look at how Pete Rose did it. You don’t get the nickname “Charlie Hustle” for nothing. Pete Rose left everything he had out on the field every single time he plays and it led to an incredible 24-year-career. Pete Rose’s 4,256 career hits is the most in history and body is even close to breaking it. He led the league in hits seven times, in runs five times and also has the record for most games played (3,562) and at-bats (14,053). Over his career Rose hit .303 and impressively went to the All-Star game at five different positions (1B, 2B, 3B, LF and RF). He was the backbone of the “Big Red Machine” and won three World Series, an NL MVP and a Rookie of the Year.
