Connie Mack

Connie Mack has the recognition as the longest-serving manager in Major League Baseball history and in that lengthy career he has the most wins (3,731) and most games managed (7,755). His wins are nearly 1,000 more than the next highest total. Mack won five World Series championships with the Philadelphia Athletics, nine American League pennants and topped 100 wins five times. He won 90 games or more eight more times as a manager. Mack’s success came to be because of a Code of Conduct he created. There were nine parts to his coach. They focused on honesty, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
