Brook blasts Bizier to retain IBF title

Kell brook

Kell Brook is going to get a really big fight after taking case of mandatory IBF challenger Kevin Bizier inside two rounds.

Brook proved to be so far superior than his opponent as he stopped him in front of his hometown crowd at the Sheffield Arena in Yorkshire, United Kingdom. Brook improved to 36-0 with his 25th win by knockout.

Brook was whipping his jab at Bizier in the first round and caught him on a counter with a hard shot that made it pretty clear there was no shot at an upset. Then, in the second round, Brook nailed Bizier, who was already bloodied, with a right uppercut, followed with a job and then a straight right and the Canadian was on the mat.

Bizier got up just before the count hit 10, but that only prolonged the end. Bizier marched forward, but Brook went right into him and pummeled him before the referee stepped in.

After the fight, Brook continued to express his desire for a big-time opponent, mentioning names like Danny Garcia, Timothy Bradley, Keith Thurman and Shawn Porter as guys he would like to fight next.

Corey Johns

Editor in Chief
You could say Corey was born to become a sports journalist. His father won a national championship coaching college soccer. His mother is a baseball fanatic who hasn't missed seeing an Orioles game since 1983 (literally, sometimes it's annoying). His great uncle was a big-time boxing promoter and his maternal grandfather was once a department head at the Baltimore Sun. Basically, sports and journalism run through his blood. He played just about every little league sports there was when he was a kid and was a multi-sport athlete in high school; even playing in the first-ever high school sanction Rugby game in the country. Eventually he retired from sports as an undefeated Maryland state Rugby champion as a high school senior. Perhaps lack of athletic talent has more to do with the retirement, but he will tell you that it more had to do with a great desire to jump right into media. Upon his graduation from University of Maryland, Baltimore County as a triple communications major, Corey started the So Much Sports network and has continued to grow his websites and continues to work to make them premier sports media outlets.
