Funny Story

So I was accidentally six hours into Stranger Things at four in the morning when my wife punched me hard in the shoulder, screaming THERE’S A MEWTWO AT THE BECHTLER ART MUSEUM!! Within 7 seconds, she is dressed and throwing my keys at my face. I plug it into the GPS and a scant six and a half hours later, we were in Charlotte with 650,000 other Pokefreaks and all I really wanted was a pumpkin ice coffee. I was walking to Dunkin Donuts when hundreds of thousands of people came running directly at me. I crouched behind a rock to take cover. When it was all over, I found a phone lying next to me. The screen was cracked, but I still found this gem when I opened the browser.

Dustin Fisher

Dustin Fisher is an amateur standup comedian, storyteller, freelance writer, and stay-at-home dad, all of which are just better ways of saying “unemployed.” He worked in the area of collegiate recreation for the previous 14 years at UMBC, Miami University and the University of Baltimore. There, he became somewhat of a folk legend on the flag football field and actually got paid to play fantasy football. Dustin is currently in the MFA program at the University of Baltimore seeking a Masters degree in Creative Writing.
